The Blackall Cultural Centre has celebrated its 20th anniversary since it was built! Blackall is a small rural town located in the Blackall-Tambo Region in Central West Queensland, approximately 960km from Brisbane.

After the Second World War, Charles Fulton, one of the founders of Fulton Trotter Architects, designed a number of notable hospital buildings including Barcaldine Hospital’s main block and staff quarters in 1953.

Flashback Friday - Edmund Rice Building

In 1938 the Edmund Rice Building at Nudgee Junior College designed by JP Donoghue and Charlie Fulton, a founder of Fulton Trotter Architects, was built The building has been adapted over time from a boarding school, to an infirmary during World War 2 to a primary school and office spaces.

All Hallows' School Library site tour

Yesterday we had opportunity to explore the All Hallows’ School Potter Library that FTA refurbished in 2014 It’s nice to see how the students are using the spaces and to hear some wonderful feedback!

St Mary's College, Ipswich

The Ellen Whitty building containing hospitality and music/dance and the Jane Gorry building housing science and arts at St Mary’s College, Ipswich, are both due for completion at the end of June! Both buildings were kept low to the ground to maintain views from and to the State Heritage listed Mercy House and Chapel which was restored by Fulton Trotter in 2013.
