Chinchilla Christian School - Music and Multipurpose Building
The 14th of March marked the opening for the Chinchilla Christian School’s Music and Multipurpose building. The opening was attended by the Federal Member of Maranoa as well as teachers, parents and the entire student body.
This building represents the completion of the final stage of the master plan prepared by Fulton Trotter Architects in 2009 and is one of the fastest developed schools in the history of our practice.
The new building is in keeping with the “Water Melon” theme represented throughout the other facilities and can be seen in the building form and colour scheme.
The building capitalises on the key musical talents of the school by providing two brand new music practice rooms and two large teaching spaces that can be shared to create a performing arts space for the student body.
Chinchilla Christian School is now expanding beyond primary school and Fulton Trotter Architects have been modifying the original master plan to include an expanded primary school and future high school on the campus.
