Belinda joined the firm in 1999 as a first-year student studying the Bachelor of Architecture at QUT. She spent her formative years learning from the great knowledge powerhouses of the office including John Hay and Frank Moss. At the completion of her course, Belinda’s passion for work in regional areas was key to the success of her final year thesis “Outside the Metropolis: Architecture in Regional, Rural and Remote Areas” which was submitted by QUT for the RIBA Thesis Award.

As Project Architect and Associate working with Director Mark Trotter, Belinda led the team that developed the Mt Maria College Master Plan and the design and construction of the senior precinct (Marcellin Champagnat Building) and the conversion of the heritage listed former convent (Rose Pelletier Building).

Recent work with Director Paul Trotter has had a strong focus on health and cultural typologies; from Park Shelters and Libraries to Primary Health Centres and Aged Care.

Belinda is looking forward her new role with Fulton Trotter Architects and continuing her body of work in health and cultural facilities with a renewed focus on delivering projects in rural and regional areas.
