Opening of new Hall receives many praises

It was with pleasure that staff of Fulton Trotter Architects attended the official opening today of the Deception Bay Flexible Learning Centre’s brand new Hall in their now completed campus.

“Such a wonderful atmosphere of students who really appreciate their new school facilities and have a genuine passion for our work on the site.” said Mark Trotter.

The new hall was an addition to the site as a part of the Australian Government’s “Building the Education Revolution” grants.

JD, one of the students at the school spoke at the opening ceremony and took it upon himself to conduct a survey among the fellow students to find out what they thought. Here are some of the words they used to describe the new hall:

“awesome, fun, big, cool, extraordinary, fantastic, terrific, stupendous, shady, fresh, colourful, useful, invaluable, amazing, hood rich, good and magnetic”.

“Magnetic really sums it up because this hall brings people together, people who wouldn’t normally mix together just to have fun” he said.

Fulton Trotter Architects would like to thank Edmund Rice Education Australia and the Christian Brothers Queensland for the commission of Deception Bay Flexible Learning Centre, we’re excited about the wonderful outcome this campus has achieved for a “mix of people”.
