Fulton Trotter Architects Presenting at the National Rural Health Conference

This March, Fulton Trotter Senior Associate, Belinda Douglas will be speaking at the 15th National Rural Health Conference in Tasmania.

Every two years the rural and remote health sector comes together at Australia’s premier rural health event – the National Rural Health Conference.

The 15th Conference is hosted by the National Rural Health Alliance, Australia’s peak body for rural and remote health with 35 diverse member organisations including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (Rural), Australian Dental Association, Royal Flying Doctors and the Country Womens Association.

The conference’s great strength draws from the diversity of groups which attend – the health practitioners, consumers, academics, students, politicians and media.

Belinda will be presenting “Making a Place for Joy: Designing Better Rural Aged Care Facilities”, a case study that discusses the different processes and requirements in rural areas and how Fulton Trotter Architects deliver better facilities and create opportunities for joy. Two of our projects will be explored in detail including the Casino Richmond Lodge Aged Care Facility and our recently completed Clermont Hospital Aged Care Consolidation (pictured above) projects.

If you are interested in attending please register here. We are excited to be part of such an insightful event and look forward to seeing you there!
