Queensland Floods

“We are Queenslanders. We’re the people that they breed tough, north of the border. We’re the ones that they knock down, and we get up again.” Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh

As proud fellow Queenslanders in heritage, our sympathies go out to our Clients, Peers and the Families affected by the recent floods.

Who could imagine such devastation on such a grand scale?

Whilst very few of our team members in Brisbane were directly affected by the floods, our hearts are with the people that were.

As expected, Queenslanders pulled together, donning their true colours, with an out pouring of help and support to various communities.

“We were just shocked when we arrived to volunteer at Warren Street, St Lucia” Belinda Gleeson said. “Because of the high density uni students in the area, a lot of the houses were untouched from people being away for Christmas and uni holidays which meant the devastation was made worse. There was wet and soggy paper everywhere throughout St Lucia. Rubbish everywhere.” She said.

Fulton Trotter Architects has worked with communities in some of the worst affected regions, these areas are deep within our history and we hold these places very close to our hearts.

With love,
The team at Fulton Trotter Architects.
