Recognition from QUT for longstanding contribution
Last night Fulton Trotter Architects was again recognised by the Queensland University of Technology for their outstanding contribution to the education of students and support of QUT.
“We are very proud of the how our practice has influenced the minds and lives of those students who have passed through this office for the last 65 years! Many of these students have never left and now form an important part of our office as Senior Associates and Associates and even Directors.” said Paul Trotter.
Charles Fulton, one of our founders was a pioneer in architectural education in Queensland, and QUT’s architecture faculty is named in his honour: the Charles Fulton School of Architecture.
“At Fulton Trotter Architects we have always considered ourselves a partner of QUT in the education of young architects and place great value in having our students grow in confidence and skills with the practice.” Paul continued.
Fulton Trotter Architects hold classic values like ‘loyalty’ dear to our hearts in how we deal with our students, staff, clients, consultants and contractors. Many of our QUT students spend their years working in the office learning the art of design and construction with the support of an Associate as they master their craft.
Our traditional process ensures all staff see projects from start to finish resulting in a well rounded and balanced architectural education. QUT plays a valuable part in this educational process by supporting a creative attitude to design exploration and sound theory and knowledge in the use of technology and materials.
This training ultimately leads to great relationships and respect from our builders and confidence from our clients that we can deliver well designed and crafted buildings.
“Fulton Trotter Architects would like to thank QUT for their ongoing support of the practice and we look forward to continuing our longstanding relationship.” Paul Trotter
