Exciting opening for St Joseph's new Library

We found these very kind words that St Joseph’s Primary School at Nambour had to say about their new Library that Fulton Trotter Architects have just finished.

“Wow!” That is the word most commonly used by young and old alike, when entering our library for the first time. In the early stages of the building process, I described to our architects, a new library which I had recently visited. I told them it was nice but had no wow factor. They assured me St Joey’s library would have wow factor and they have delivered. The children are experiencing this wow factor this week, with longer lessons than usual. If you haven’t experienced it yet, call in anytime, you’ll be most welcome.” – Cathie Menck – Teacher Librarian at St Joseph’s Primary School

Fulton Trotter Architects completed the St Joseph’s Primary School Library under the P21 program. The school moved into the building last week with big smiles, we’re proud to have provided them a first class educational facility.

This stage of the site included the new library, a new hall and new tuckshop in the one facility, known in our office as the “pineapple”. Works will continue at St Joseph’s Primary School with plans for Fulton Trotter Architects to deliver new classrooms, amenities and administration facilities in coming years under the school’s masterplan.

We would like to thank St Joseph’s Primary School, Evans Harch and our wonderful team of staff and consultants who delivered this project to some very happy students, teachers and parents.
