Fulton Trotter announces practice restructure

Fulton Trotter Architects has announced its decision to restructure their 67-year-old practice and reallocate resources from the Northern Rivers office to bolster the Brisbane and Sydney offices. The office located in Tweed Heads has had a proud 30-year history; however the changing economy and other external influences have been considered in what the directors believe will be a positive outcome for the practice.

“The Directors have been considering the long term strategy for the practice as part of a new Strategic Plan,” said Greg Isaac, Director — Fulton Trotter Architects. “The broad aspects of the Strategic Plan are to be: Creative, Helpful, Successful and Enjoyable.”

The practice has 5 Directors, 4 Senior Associates, 11 Associates and a total team of 68 staff. Reallocating resources from Tweed to our Brisbane and Sydney offices will allow us to broaden our depth and experience while continuing to work with clients throughout Queensland and New South Wales. The use of technology ensures that there is no limit to where we can work.

Andrew Armstrong who is the Director-in-Charge of the Northern Rivers team will share his time between the Brisbane and Sydney offices and continue to service the needs of existing Northern Rivers clients. Mr Armstrong explained his excitement for the Northern Rivers’ talented staff by offering them new and exciting opportunities in a larger office environment in Brisbane or Sydney.

“We are reinforcing our commitment to the quality management of architectural services. We have recognised that the nature of obtaining and delivering our architectural commissions is changing, and through technology, we can offer services from Brisbane and Sydney,” said Andrew Armstrong, Director. “The Northern Rivers will still see a strong presence from Fulton Trotter. We will continue to service our existing and future clients.”
