St Brigid’s Primary School in Kyogle is a single stream catholic school. The existing buildings built many years ago accommodated 9 classrooms spaces. As part of the BER P21 rollout all existing classrooms were gutted and 6 large teaching spaces with individual withdrawal areas were created. In addition a new kindergarten classroom was built providing a school that now caters for K-6.
Other elements of the project included a lift for disabled access, covered walkways and the refurbishment of the library. Playful haphazard colours used throughout the interior and exterior of the refurbished buildings have contributed to a new image for the school.
