This project involved the refurbishment of a group of 4 × 10 bedroom aged care hostels (low care) originally designed by Byron Bay Architect – Christine Verdaz. This project was built over two stages while residents continued to live on site and involved refurbishing and extending the existing kitchen and living areas along with a major fire upgrade. Some existing undercover verandah areas were enclosed to create more comfortable living spaces for residents. New fencing and a complete repaint of the exterior was also undertaken as part of this project.
