Emerald Aquatic Centre Café & Amenities

The centre’s new café and amenities building is dominated by a large spreading and folding roof form. The internal space has been designed to allow maximum supervision of outdoor areas by a minimal number of staff. Passive climatic design principles have been used. A simple palette of durable low maintenance materials have been used throughout, with small areas of strong colours mimicking local bougainvilleas.
