Health

It was a health project that sparked the beginnings of Fulton Trotter Architects as an architectural practice in 1946. That first project was the Aramac Hospital. Barcaldine Hospital followed shortly thereafter. Health care facilities have remained a large part of the firm’s work ever since.

From planning to schematic design, Fulton Trotter Architects has developed a rigorous process built on consultation and collaboration. We’ve assembled a team of highly specialised planners and consultants. We work closely with the many stakeholders—government, health planners, medical practitioners, support staff and patients.

We address the varying work environments and health care cultures. To stay in step with a highly specialised and rapidly evolving field, our staff regularly attend events like the Annual Healthcare Facilities Planning and Design Summit.

Fulton Trotter Architects’ foundations and future are in designing health care facilities that work on every level.
