The Lunch Room Cafe

The design of the café building aims to reflect the surrounding neighbourhood through use of materials while maintaining the ‘quirky’ nature of the original café. The design references and plays against the typology of the traditional ‘Greek café’ in Brisbane. The adjacent existing one room heritage listed shop on the site was also restored and extended with a small one room modern structure that connects to the existing building with a lightweight walkway.
