MacKillop Catholic College Master Plan

The MacKillop Catholic College is a combined primary and secondary school as part of a new campus on a green field site on the Central Coast of NSW.

All new buildings were planned to relate to the natural watercourse, thus occupying the site along a diagonal axis. The eastern side of this axis is currently occupied by Stage 1 of the Secondary School, which includes the staff, administration and church buildings.

The library is part of a master planned civic zone within the school, containing technical arts, science and fitness buildings. The western side of the watercourse is a naturally dense landscape which the future master plan will respect with domestic scale primary and secondary classrooms buildings and one playing field.

All will respond to and integrate with the natural landscape. The design of this zone will be structured in a manner which promotes the gathering of year groups in a suburban, home / park like environment.
