Religious

Few project types demand and draw such a spirited response from the architect as do religious buildings. The humble church provides one of the greatest challenges and opportunities for building design.

Fulton Trotter Architects has a long history of working closely with church groups, schools and communities in creating inspired and inspiring religious buildings—from our first church in Millmerran in the 1950s.

Every church is unique. And every element has meaning. From liturgical planning to construction, we apply the finest attention to detail to deliver buildings that work architecturally, and resonate with all who use them. Our religious buildings bring out the best in all who work on them.

Fulton Trotter Architects’ design for the Blessed John XXIII Catholic Church and Parish Centre in Sydney was the only Australian entry in the 2008 International Prize of Sacred Architecture, held in Italy every four years.
