St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School at Bulli involved the Masterplan and refurbishment of an existing single stream primary school to create new Hall, Administration and Classroom facilities. The first stage of the works was completed as part of the Federal Government’s BER program.

The BER project incorporated a hall, canteen and COLA building as well as renovations to the existing classroom building to upgrade the spaces to allow for flexible learning opportunities. Operable walls were introduced between classrooms as well as break-out spaces for smaller group learning. New practical activity spaces were introduced and “pinboard” fabric wall lining to allow for colourful displays. The Hall building opens out with folding doors under an awning roof to allow over flow of spectating visiting parent.

The result of the masterplan is an almost completely new, cheery and colourful primary school.
