Hayley is a talented associate who drives a team of enthusiastic young architects. Many of her relationships with clients have been nurtured over many years and she enjoys the return business from this. Joining our practice as a young second year architecture student, Hayley has prospered and is now highly recognised for her work on Australia’s most ‘innovative aged care facility’ of 2011: Parkview, Wheller Gardens for Wesley Mission Brisbane with Mark Trotter and their team.
Hayley aims to lead by example, remaining focussed, achieving tight deadlines and maintaining high standards. This has resulted in her running a very cohesive team, which is able to share knowledge and experience across their work collaboratively and effortlessly. Hayley enjoys the architectural process and believes having fun along the way is important — she takes delight in “mixing food and architecture”. She enjoys hearing stories from clients well after projects have finished and hearing how the building has created places that positively influence the lives of their users.
